How does this laser remove hair?
Laser hair removal is a non-invasive laser specifically designed to eliminate undesired hair from all parts of the body.  The laser effectively disables unwanted pigmented hair follicles, thus impairing their growth.  The laser's cold hand piece is placed gently on the skin and glides along as pulses of light are delivered from the laser.  When the light penetrates the skin, it selectively damages the root of the unwanted hair.

Does skin color make a difference?
All skin types, even suntanned skin, can benefit from laser hair removal; however, patients with fair skin respond best to treatments.

How long does a treatment take?
Treatment times can vary based on the areas being addressed.  The upper lip takes only a few minutes, where an area like the back can take over one hour.
